With motivation running at a low with upcoming university deadlines, I've sprung upon inspiration from Blog 'Bandteesleatherandlace' with a new visuals for my blog and a new direction to take. Before knowing how to actually use Blogger, still am trying to keep up with it! I was always aiming to achieve a minimalistic look. With black and white images, looking at lifestyle, bands and fashion.
From reading through a few articles and magazines from 'BandTeesLeatherandLace' the 'Tmrw' magazine with the very iconic The 1975 monochrome images stealing the front cover of the magazine. From going through the magazine and looking at their website which covers many different platforms from youtube to arts and cultures, fashion and music. For those who are interested in bands such as The 1975, the magazine covers those of similar genres such as Eliza and the bear, Charlie XCX, and many more.
The style of the magazine is very inspiring in terms of it's simplicity and its music target audience. The photography under arts and cultures is amazing! Many albums showing different aspects of cities or band photography. Hopefully these are aspects I am able to bring this to my blog.
Style wise I always imagine Black, White and touches of grey everywhere, like when designing your dream kitchen. The Fashion Book front cover alone illustrated this. The book alone covers face of fashion from the beginning, However the the simplistic layout of the book is something I aspire to achieve while I revamp my blog!
